Beaba Babycook

The French baby-food maker that has won praise throughout Europe is finally available to American families. This compact countertop appliance multitasks as a steamer, blender, warmer and defroster to prepare fresh, healthy meals for baby. It starts by steam cooking vegetables, fruits, meat and fish in less than 15 minutes, preserving their vitamins and flavors, then purees or blends them to your desired consistency. You can also use it to quickly reheat or defrost precooked foods.

Yea, the price is definitely a downfall.
But it seems like there'd be a lot less dishwashing to do.

I've lusted after this for a while now, and I've come close to buying it but I end up chickening out because it seems too small for the price.

that looks awesome! a little on the expensive side but well worth the money no doubt!

wow...I wish I would have had one of those. I needed mine last year and instead got a cuisine art blender/food processor - but it doesn't do all that! Maybe next baby..

Wow! Looks nice....very nice. My first thought was: "Boy, I sure could use that on my upcoming vacation." We're going on a cruise in January -- I'd rather not buy jarred baby food for my 7-month old for this trip.

wow. I have two months before baby girl starts solids...I think I'm going to save up for this.

this looks awesome! i wish i had the money to get it, but i have a steamer, a Magic Bullet blender, and a munchkin food mill, so that money would be better spent elsewhere

I have one of these and I use it almost every day. The only downside is that I like to make big batches of food and this is a bit on a small side. I tried using a blender but it never worked right.
The babycook is VERY worth it in my opinion. Baby is almost 1 and I still use it
